At Peace, with Sequim Hospice
Hospice is here to help not only the seniors within our program, but also their family. This is a difficult stage of life, but with the right nurses and volunteers, it can be peaceful and comfortable for all involved.
Our Signature Hospice program is focused on peacefulness during this last stage of a senior's life, and we do it in three different ways:
- We never use invasive treatments, because these are often much too harsh for aged people, and cause more suffering than should be had.
- We make sure that all of our nurses and volunteers are well-trained and loving people. We never employ anyone who would cause our seniors harm.
- We pay attention to the family. It is often the family that has the hardest time through this process, so we make sure that they are looked after in a loving and caring way.
Overall, each of our hospice patients is kept peaceful, with a strong sense of security. As they finish up their journey on this earth, we will lovingly keep them comfortable and calm.
